If you are using Faculty World on behalf of an institution or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Faculty World is a global academic marketplace that connects faculty, experts, and institutions for recruitment, teaching, mentoring, and verified professional engagement.

We provide tools for profile creation, opportunity discovery, structured contact requests, and role-based dashboards. We do not guarantee placement, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy of user-submitted information.

You must provide accurate registration information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Faculty World supports distinct account types, including faculty or expert accounts and institution accounts. You must select the role that accurately reflects how you use the platform.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these terms, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

You retain ownership of content you submit, including academic profiles, credentials, opportunity listings, and messages sent through approved contact flows.

You grant Faculty World a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process your content as needed to operate the platform, improve services, and enforce these terms.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of others.

Faculty World provides a privacy-first contact flow designed to help institutions and faculty connect without unnecessary exposure of personal contact details.

You agree to use platform communication tools professionally and only for legitimate academic or professional purposes related to opportunities on Faculty World.

Harassment, spam, unsolicited marketing, or attempts to bypass platform safeguards are prohibited.

Some features or services may be offered on a paid basis. Applicable fees, billing terms, and refund policies will be disclosed before you incur a charge.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data without permission, interfere with platform operations, or use Faculty World for unlawful purposes.

Additional standards are described in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Faculty World is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not verify every credential, affiliation, or statement made by users, although we may offer verification features where available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faculty World and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

You may stop using Faculty World at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
